PAC Honors 36 Westminster Student-Athletes

WEXFORD, Pa. - The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) on Jan. 25 recognized 36 Westminster College student-athletes who were named to the PAC Fall 2011 Academic Honor Roll. The PAC Academic Honor Roll honors student-athletes on fall varsity sports teams who have earned a grade-point average (GPA) of 3.6 or higher on a 4.0 scale during their semester of competition. A total of 375 athletes from the league's 10 schools were recognized for the Fall 2011 semester. Westminster was among six schools to place at least 30 students on the list. The Fall 2011 total represents a 4.5 percent increase from the Fall 2010 PAC Academic Honor Roll, which featured 359 honorees. more |

Cross Country: Westminster Finishes 2011 Season at NCAA Regional CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - The Westminster College men's and women's cross country teams completed the 2011 season by competing at the NCAA Division III Mideast Regional Championships hosted by DeSales College on Saturday. The Titan women's team placed 24th out of 47 teams with 650 points, while the Titan men's team placed 35th out of 47 teams with 971 points. |

Cross Country: Krueger Breaks School Record in 6K at Oberlin OBERLIN, Ohio - Senior Jennifer Krueger (Adamsville, Pa./Conneaut Lake) broke the Westminster College women's cross country team's school record for the 6-kilometers with a 25th-place time of 23:11.2 at the Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble Saturday. The Titan women placed 17th out of 33 teams with 492 points while the Titan men placed 31st out of 34 teams with 922 points. |
Cross Country: Krueger, Sutton Lead Titans at CMU Invitational PITTSBURGH - The Westminster College men's and women's cross country teams competed at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational Saturday at Schenley Park. The Titan women placed eighth out of 14 varsity teams with 225 points, while the Titan men 10th out of 12 varsity teams with 330 points. |
Cross Country: Titan Women Place Second, Men Seventh at Saint Vincent LATROBE, Pa. - The Westminster College men's and women's cross country teams competed at the Saint Vincent Invitational Saturday. The Titans women placed second out of 11 teams with 74 points, while the Titans men placed seventh out of nine teams with 133 points. |
Cross Country: Krueger Breaks 23-Year-Old 5K Record to Lead Titans at Behrend ERIE, Pa. - Senior Jennifer Krueger (Adamsville, Pa./Conneaut Lake) broke a 23-year-old team record in the 5-kilometer run as she led the Westminster College women's cross country team to a second-place finish out of 11 teams at the Penn State Behrend Invitational Saturday. The Titan men's team also placed seventh out of 14 teams at the meet. |
