The 2012-2013 PAC All-Sports Trophies Announced

GREENVILLE, Pa. - The 2012-13 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) All-Sports Trophies were announced on Thursday. The Titan women's teams placed second with 63.5 points (only four points behind first-place), while the Titan men's programs placed seventh with 41.5 points.

The all-sports trophies are annually awarded to the schools which perform the best across the board in league competition. First-place finishes are worth 10 points (nine for men), second place is worth nine points (eight for men) ... last place is worth one point.

Westminster Celebrates 2012-13 Athletic Accomplishments at WESPY Awards
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College Department of Athletics and the Student Athlete Advisory Committee hosted the 10th Annual WESPY Awards (Westminster Exceptional Sports Performances of the Year) Tuesday night at Orr Auditorium. The WESPYs honored team MVPs for all 18 varsity sports teams, as well as several annual awards and recognition of top athletic achievements throughout the 2012-13 academic year.

Baseball: Titans End 2013 Season in Doubleheader Versus W&J
WASHINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College baseball team was swept by Washington & Jefferson in its last game of the 2013 season as it lost 9-0 in game one and 13-2 in the nightcap. The Titans finished the year with a 15-23 overall record and 7-15 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC), while the Presidents improved to 26-11 overall (18-6 in the PAC) and clinched the no.1 seed for the conference tournament.

Baseball: Presidents Outlast Titans in 11 Innings
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - It took 11 innings on Westminster College baseball team's Senior Night to decide a winner on Friday. After five lead changes and a three hour saga, Washington and Jefferson outlasted the Titans 15-13 in extra innings. The Presidents improved to 24-11 (16-6 PAC), while the Titans fell to 15-21 (7-13 PAC) on the season.

Baseball: Borton Pitches First Career Complete Game; Titans Split With Waynesburg
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College baseball team split a doubleheader with Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) foe Waynesburg on Saturday. The Titans lost game one, 12-2, however regrouped and won game two, 5-1.
