Baseball: McMaster Helps Titans Split With Thiel

GREENVILLE, Pa. - The Westminster College baseball team split with Thiel in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) doubleheader on Saturday. The Titans lost game one, 5-4, and won game two, 4-2, in extra innings. Titan freshman Nate McMaster (Stow, OH / Stow-Munroe Falls) pitched a complete nine-inning game in the nightcap.

In game one in the top of the fourth inning, Westminster (9-16, 6-7 PAC) cut Thiel's lead to 2-1 after senior Nick Reinthaler (Canfield, OH / Canfield) scored on a passed ball. Thiel (12-18, 6-12) scored another run in the bottom half of the fourth, followed by a Titan run in the top of the fifth inning. Westminster junior Jared Heck (Pittsburgh, PA / North Hills) scored the run with a single, bringing home freshman Sean Coyne (New Castle, PA / New Castle).

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College baseball team split with Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) foe Grove City in a doubleheader at home on Saturday. The Titans won, 5-3, in game one, however, lost, 7-3, in game two after the Wolverines scored five runs in the top of the seventh.

WASHINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College baseball team lost, 13-3, at Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) foe Washington & Jefferson on Wednesday. The Titans dropped to 6-14 overall and 3-5 in the PAC, while the Presidents improved to 14-9 and 9-2 in the conference.
Westminster Prepares for NCAA's Third Division III Week
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Westminster will be joining nearly 450 other NCAA Division III institutions to celebrate Division III Week this week, April 7-13. This is the third year that a week has been set aside by the NCAA to recognize those member institutions whose intercollegiate athletic programs compete in D-III.

CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Westminster College baseball team was swept in a non-conference doubleheader at the No. 21 nationally ranked Case Western on Saturday. The Titans lost, 12-1, in game one and, 21-0 in seven innings, in game two.
Baseball: Titans Win, 8-3, Against Geneva
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Titan freshman Nate McMaster (Stow, OH / Stow-Munroe Falls) pitched six scoreless innings, guiding the Westminster College baseball team to an 8-3 win versus Geneva at home on Wednesday.
