GREENVILLE, Pa. - Senior Katie Hughes (Boardman, OH / Cardinal Mooney), a member of the Westminster College women's basketball team, was recognized by the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) as the Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the week of Dec. 10.
Hughes helped guide Westminster to a pair of conference victories last week after averaging 19.5 points and 6.5 rebounds and shooting a combined 50 percent (16-of-32) from the floor and 77.7 percent (7-of-9) from the free throw line. Hughes established a new career-high with 24 points in the Titans' win over Chatham.
The Titans will host Pitt-Greenburg on Dec. 18 at 6 p.m.
