Women's Tennis: Titans Stay Undefeated with Sixth Shutout Win of the Year

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College women's tennis team stayed undefeated on Friday with a 9-0 shutout win over the visiting Pitt-Bradford. The Titans improved to 8-0 overall, while the Panthers dropped to 4-4. Six of Westminster's eight wins this season are shutout-victories.

Senior Alex Bailey (Murrysville, PA / Franklin Regional), junior Caitlin Hosler (Lititz, PA / Manheim Central), and senior Jane Larson (Lititz, PA / Manheim Central) blanked their opposition at no. 1, no. 2, and no. 3 singles, respectively.

The duos of Bailey and Hosler and Larson and senior Beth Ekimoff (Webster, NY / Webster Schroeder) held their opponents scoreless at no. 1 and no. 3 doubles, respectively.

Westminster will host Presidents' Athletic Conference foe Saint Vincent on Saturday at 12 p.m.
