FINDLEY LAKE, NY - The Westminster College men's golf team tied for fifth-place at the Penn. State-Behrend Invitational on Thursday. The course was a par-72, 6,260 yards. As a team, the Titans shot a 312 (+24). Host Penn. State-Behrend won with a 303 (+15).
Sophomore Domi Ciraula (Wexford, PA / Pine-Richland) and junior Chris Molnar (Easton, PA / Easton) led the Titans as they tied for 10th-place (76). Sophomore Ross Montanti (Gibsonia, PA / Pine-Richland) followed with a 79 for a tie for 21st-place. Rounding out the Westminster finishers were junior David Paladino (Jefferson Hills, PA / Thomas Jefferson) (82) and junior Ryan Avril (Jamestown, PA / Jamestown) (82).
The Titans will compete at the Presidents' Athletic Conference Fall Championships on Monday and Tuesday at the Oak Tree Country club.
