GREENVILLE, Pa. - The Westminster College swimming teams swept the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) weekly honors as sophomore Matthew Baurle (Jeannette, Pa. / Penn-Trafford) was named the PAC Men's Swimmer/Diver of the Week and senior Amanda Marlow (Twinsburg, Ohio / Twinsburg) was named the PAC Women's Swimmer/Diver of the Week.
Baurle claimed both the 100 (58.68) and 200 breaststroke (2:11.02) in Saturday's 150-108 PAC victory at Saint Vincent. Both of Baurle's individual wins established new pool records. He also teamed up with juniors Steven Brooks and Nicholas Smith and sophomore Max Hague to claim the 200 medley relay victory (1:37.86) for the Titans.
Marlow won both the 100 (1:01.81) and 200 (2:12.70) fly in Westminster's 153-101 PAC win at Saint Vincent on Saturday, where she established a new pool record in 200 fly. Marlow also swam on the winning 200 medley relay with senior Carrie Whisel, sophomore Kelsey Reott and freshman Samantha Tower, which also set a new pool record with their time of 1:54.16.
Westminster will host Grove City in its PAC season finale next Thursday at 6 p.m.
