NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) today selected women's soccer junior Rebecca Bradnam (Irwin, PA / Hempfield) as its Titan Athlete of the Week for the week of September 1.
Bradnam's 46th-minute goal was all the Westminster women's soccer team needed, as the Titans won, 1-0, over the visiting Pioneers of Marietta on Saturday. The Titans went 1-1 in two non-conference matches last week.
Westminster will play in nine-straight road games, starting with the Manchester/Anderson Tournament in Indiana on Friday, Sept. 5. The Titans will play Anderson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Manchester at 4 p.m. on Saturday.
