NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College men's soccer team tied Grove City, 1-1, on Senior Day at Harold Burry Stadium. The Titans went to 7-8-3 overall and 2-2-3 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC), while the Wolverines moved to 7-5-4 overall and 3-1-2 in the conference.
The Wolverines scored first at the 26th minute in the first half with a goal from Seth Loew. Grove City held the lead at halftime.
The Titans scored the equalizer when sophomore Richard Beaudoin (Adamstown, MD / Tuscarora) found classmate Austin Ewers (New Wilmington, PA / Wilmington Area) for a goal with 46:59 on the clock. Ewers has five goals on the season.
Westminster senior goalie Joe Bonish (Newport News, VA / Woodside) played solid between the pipes as he had a season-high nine saves on the day in 110 minutes.
The Titans will travel to Thomas More next Wednesday with a starting time of 1:30 p.m.
