Women's Tennis: Titans Stay Undefeated after 7-2 Win Against Waynesburg

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College women's tennis team won, 7-2, versus Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) foe Waynesburg on Saturday. The Titans stay unbeaten at 5-0, while the Yellow Jackets dropped to 4-2 on the year.

Earning complete shutouts for Westminster were freshmen Mariah Turiano (Hollidaysburg, PA / Hollidaysburg) at no. 2 singles and Sydney Sterner (Imperial, PA / West Allegheny) at no. 3 singles who both won 6-0, 6-0.

Titan senior Caitie Hosler (Lititz, PA / Manheim Central) won at no.1 singles, 6-1, 6-2. Hosler and Sterner lost a hard-fought no. 1 doubles match by the score of 9-7.
Westminster will travel to Penn. State-Behrend on Tuesday with the starting time of 4p.m.
