BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. - The Westminster College men's soccer team lost, 4-0, at Division II Salem International on Saturday. The Titans dropped to 2-2 on the year, while the Tigers improved to 1-0.
Salem International scored two goals in the first half and two in the second.
Titan junior goalie Michael Girata (Monaca, PA / Central Valley) got the loss. Girata had four saves and allowed all four goals in 80 minutes of play.
Sophomore Ethan McCarthy (New Castle, PA / Neshannock) led Westminster with two shots on goal. The Tigers out-shot the Titans 15-3.
Westminster is back on the field on Wednesday when they host Penn.-State Altoona at 5 p.m.
