Men's Golf: Titans place 7th/7 at the Edward Jones Shootout

APOLLO, Pa. - The Westminster College men's golf team placed seventh out of seven teams at the Edward Jones Shootout hosted by Carnegie Mellon University.  The Titans shot 648 as a team finishing 48 strokes behind Point Park, who won the event with two rounds totaling 600.  Westminster shot a 320 yesterday in round one and followed up with a 328 today in round two.

Sophomore Ross Montanti (Gibsonia, PA / Pine-Richland) led the Titans with a total score of 155 (76-79), which tied him for 15th overall at the event.  Junior Chris Molnar (Easton, PA / Easton) placed in the Top-30 (26th) with a score of 159 (79-80).  Rounding out the top five finishers for the Titans were junior David Paladino (Jefferson Hills, PA / Thomas Jefferson) with a 163 (80-83), sophomore Dominic Ciraula (Wexford, PA / Pine-Richland) with a 171 (85-86), and junior Trevor Crogan (Canfield, OH / Canfield) with a 181 (87-94).

 Westminster is back in action when it travels to the Saint Vincent Invitational on April 18.
