NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) today selected men's cross country junior Aaron Sutton (Warren, OH / Howland), as its SAAC Titan Athlete of the Week for the week of October 15.
Sutton broke the men's cross country team's 28-year old school record for the 8-kilomeers with a 42nd-place time of 25:20.2 at the Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble Saturday. Sutton's time eclipsed Jeff Huff's time of 26:01 set in 1984.
Westminster will compete at the 2012 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championships Oct. 27 at Bethany.
