NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Westminster College students in the Communication Ethics course will host the first annual Hustle 4 Heart Reach 5K Run/Walk Sunday, April 14, at 3 p.m. at Burry Stadium. Registration starts at 2 p.m.

Proceeds from the event will help support Heart Reach Ministries in its mission to reach out to youth and their families in the inner city of Youngstown, Ohio.

Visit to learn more about the organization and to register for the run/walk. Registration is $10 for students and $20 for non-students.

The Communication Ethics course is designed to introduce the interrelationship of communication and free speech. The course provides opportunities to understand ethical communication in various contexts, assess weakness and strengths as an ethical communicator and apply theories of communication ethics to the major course of study.

"As an alumna of Westminster College I think it's great that our students get work experience through opportunities such as community service," said Abby Trotter `12, communications and public relations specialist for Heart Reach Ministries. "Hustle 4 Heart Reach is the first 5K fundraiser Heart Reach has held and is open to all ages. This fundraiser benefits the children and youth of Youngstown through programming provided by Heart Reach Ministries that helps build character and positive relationships."
