Westminster College Dance Theatre to Present Annual Show March 21-23

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Westminster College's Dance Theatre will present its annual spring show Thursday-Saturday, March 21-23, in Orr Auditorium.  The performance, which involves 40 students, is open to the public.

This year's theme, "Dance Until the World Ends," will feature a variety of dance styles choreographed by current dance members. Showtime Thursday and Friday is 8 p.m.; Saturday's matinee is at 2 p.m.  Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children (age five and up) and senior citizens, and will be available at the door.  Westminster students, faculty, and staff can attend for $1.

Dance Theatre, established at Westminster more than 30 years ago, is open to all students interested in dance and movement.  Weekly technique classes are supplemented by periodic master classes conducted by guest artists.  The annual show highlights the year's activities and participation is by audition.

Gina Sharbaugh, Westminster senior associate director of admissions, is celebrating her 26th year as Dance Theatre's artistic director.
