Exhibition of Sculptures and Photographs at Westminster College Foster Art Gallery

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Westminster College's Department of Communication Studies, Theatre and Art will host the art exhibition, Constructs, Jan. 15 to Feb. 22 at the Foster Art Gallery in Patterson Hall. This exhibition will feature text based sculptures and photographs by artist Scott Hazard. The exhibition is free to the public.

The Art Gallery is open weekdays from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.  The Art Gallery hosts six exhibits annually, one of which is the student/senior exhibit in March. Regional, national, and international artists are brought to campus for exhibits and lectures.

Hazard is an artist and educator based in Raleigh, N.C.  He attended the California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo to study landscape architecture and received an MFA with an emphasis in sculpture, photography and video from the University of Florida.  He is the recipient of an Artist Fellowship in Visual Arts from the North Carolina Arts Council and has exhibited his work at venues such as the Atlantic Center for the Arts, the Appleton Museum, Roanoke College, and Artspace in Raleigh, N.C.
