2005 Grammy Award winner for Best Bluegrass Album, Ricky Skaggs has projected Bluegrass into the limelight of American entertainment. He and his all-star band Kentucky Thunder, entertain audiences with Bluegrass, Country and Gospel music with a contemporary style, while remaining true to the traditional core. This toe-tapping, hand-clapping music brings old and new audiences to their feet. Americans were reached with this music in the film, "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?'
