"Evita"

Tuesday, April 15, 2008

Winner of seven Tony Awards, Evita brings to the stage the story of the dynamic, larger-than-life persona of Eva Peron, wife of the Argentine dictator, who captivated her nation by championing the working class. This exuberant and captivating large-scale Broadway touring production features Andrew Lloyd Webber’s compelling Latin, pop and jazz influenced score, including the mega-popular “Don’t Cry For Me Argentina.” Following a recent large-scale London production, Evita will have a revival on Broadway in 2008 and is destined to become a great hit once again.
