Nebraska Theatre Caravan's A Christmas Carol returns to the Orr stage in honor of the 200th Birthday of Charles Dickens.

When Dickens wrote his "ghostly little tale" in 1843, he couldnt know that A Christmas Carol was destined to become one of the most beloved holiday traditions of all time. The NTC production is probably the most widely produced production of Dickens in the nation, annually performing for more than 100,000 people in more than 60 cities across the country. Twenty-eight performers bring Dickens' fable of redemption to life as the staging evokes a three-dimensional Victorian Christmas card that literally leaps to life as the setting for one of the most powerful stories of kindness, redemption and the healing powers of the holiday spirit. A full array of traditional Christmas carols is woven into the classic story of Ebenezer Scrooge.
