Since 1997, I have been teaching beginning and intermediate Spanish at Westminster College. I was born in Peru, and I immigrated to the United States in 1990. I hold a Masters of Arts in Teaching Language from the University of Southern Mississippi. I enjoy collaborating with local school districts to improve their foreign language curricula. Recently, I have worked with my husband, David Swerdlow, to translate and publish Latin American poetry. In my free time, I enjoy yoga, zumba, and travel.
