I serve as the Director of the Office of Academic Success at Westminster College. In this role, I lead our Peer Tutoring Program, support students through academic coaching, organize academic seminars, coordinate and advise exploratory majors, and provide general academic support for all students. I also teach first year students in our Westminster 101 course.
For several years, I have served as the marketing and communications officer for the Heartland College Learning Center Association, an affiliate of the International College Learning Center Association (ICLCA). I also serve on the editorial board of The Learning Assistance Review (TLAR), ICLCA's peer-reviewed journal.
I graduated from Malone University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts and from Chatham University with a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing. For many years, I worked as a reporter and editor at several daily newspapers. I have also been published in several literary journals.
My husband Tim (who is a proud Westminster alumnus) and I have two children, and together we enjoy biking, hiking, baking and reading.
