Associate Professor
I have been a faculty member at Westminster College since 2002. I began my career in the School of Education as their science educator but my interests in grant writing, service-learning, civic engagement, undergraduate research and program development led me into a position in the Drinko Center for Experiential Learning. After serving in the Drinko Center for nearly a decade as co-director and director, I have transitioned into a new position as the Director of the Outdoor Laboratory.
At the Outdoor Lab I work to focus meaningful experiences through hands-on programming and constructivist derived experiential learning and reflective practices. I teach environmental science oriented courses and serve on the Environmental Science Committee as well as the Sustainability Committee.
