I joined the TRIO Scholars Program team in 2021. Within this program I provide support to students: meeting them where they are, working towards their goals, and focusing on numerous areas of life. I enjoy getting to know people and the paths they have experienced in life. In addition, I believe it is important to collaborate with others to solve problems and work toward a positive future for all. I look forward to working with students in finding how to excel at being themselves and using their strengths to their advantage. I think it is important to remember that everyone’s version of “success” is different, so I would like to be there supporting students in finding out what that looks like for them.
I am a 2014 Westminster College graduate with a B.A. in Psychology and a M.A. in Counseling from Geneva College. Before coming back to Westminster, I worked within the criminal justice and mental health fields.
I am also a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach. My top five include Achiever, Learner, Discipline, Responsibility, and Focus. I am always open to learning something new, taking on challenges, and finding ways to solve problems.
