About Me

I have been with Westminster since 2020 and am the Instructional Design & Technology Librarian/Assistant Professor at McGill Library.

I earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English Literature with a minor in Information Systems: Database Design from Western Illinois University-Quad Cities, and a Masters of Library and Information Science (MLIS) from the iSchool at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a focus in Online Instruction (eLearning). I have a special interest in Digital Accessibility including creating screen-reader accessible course materials, video captions, and course and web design that reduce barriers for students with ADD, Dyslexia, Autism, Anxiety, Color Blindness, Low Vision, and more.

As a first-generation working-class student, I am passionate about and excited to work with first-generation undergraduates and to guide them through the complex world of Higher Education.
