After receiving a dual-title PhD from the Pennsylvania State University, I joined the Department of Modern Languages at Westminster College in 2024. Teaching and research are equally important to me, and as a cultural studies researcher exploring the history of science, medicine, and psychological trauma in the Francophone world, my findings often inform my teaching practices. I bring a pedagogical approach to instruction and mentoring that centers individual autonomy and the cultivation of a classroom environment in which students from all walks of life have the opportunity to grow, discover, and excel.
