Beta Beta Beta Biological Society was established in 1948 as the Alpha Sigma chapter. Prerequisites for active membership include a major in the biological sciences, a minimum of sophomore standing, at least twelve biology semester hours with a GPA of 3.0, and an overall GPA of 3.0. Associate membership is available to students of any major who have taken four biology semester hours and are enrolled in four more semester hours.
