Description
Format
Poster/Display
A 36”x48” (or smaller) poster (printed or hand-drawn) that details the project work; products of work may be displayed on table
Easel with 36”x48” trifold backing and/or 6’ table available (access to power can be requested)
Oral Presentation
A variety of formats, including traditional PowerPoint or Google Slides presentations, prepared speeches, readings of written works, etc.
12 min timeslot with 3 min for Q&A; computer with standard software and access to internet available to display audiovisuals
Environmental Photo
Description of environmental photo should address how photo illustrates at least one of the following topics: biodiversity, habitat, ecosystem services, human impacts, sustainability, or environmental justice.

Photo submitted as a .jpg file (min file size of 55KB, with 1-3MB providing good resolution for printing).

Photos will be printed (8x10 size) and on display during the live Symposium. They will also be included in the online video showcase.

Environmental Art
Digital versions of the artwork (scans, photos) submitted as .jpg files (min file size of 55KB, with 1-3MB providing good resolution for printing).

Digital versions of the artwork will be printed (8x10 size) and put on display. The digital versions will also be included in the online video showcase. Attendees to the in-person Symposium are welcome to bring their physical artwork with them for display.

Environmental Video Short
Any video genre is welcome – just be sure the video conveys factual content about the environment (if even through metaphor). Video could be a humorous TikTok video, a Public Service Announcement, a short film/documentary, an interview, video of proposed research or research in progress, etc.

Video of 2 min or less that is shared via a YouTube link (public, audience = select “not made for kids” [to enable comments])

Select video shorts will be shown during the Oral Session
