Westminster Music Education Major to Give Organ Recital

Jennifer Braden, a Westminster College senior education major, will give an organ recital Sunday, Oct. 5, at 3 p.m. at Orr Auditorium.

The program will include "Praeledium in C" by Buxtehude, "Orgelbuchlein" by Bach, and "Jesus Accepte La Souffrance" by Oliver.

Braden is a daughter of Nancy and James Braden, Wheeling W.V., and a graduate of Wheeling Park High School. During her stay at Westminster College, Braden has been involved in the Westminster College Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Pit Orchestra and Marching Band, where she currently serves as field commander. She is also a member and past treasurer for the Westminster Chapter of the Pennsylvania Collegiate Music Educators Association. Braden is the assistant organist at St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church in Wheeling.
