The Westminster College Men's and Women's Choirs will present their annual fall concert entitled "Shout for Joy" on Friday, Nov. 14, at 7:30 p.m. in Wallace Memorial Chapel. The concert is free and open to the public.

Under the direction of Mr. Edgar Groves, Westminster music department adjunct faculty, and Dr. Samuel Barbara, Westminster assistant professor of music and director of choral activities, Lauren Thayer and Benjamin Grove will accompany the choirs.

The Women's Choir will present excerpts from "A Ceremony of Carols" by Benjamin Britten and "Velvet Shoes" by Randall Thompson, among other excellent choral compositions.

The Men's Choir will open with "Shout for Joy!" by Dan Davison and perform other lively and uplifting folk arrangements. Soloists include Panayiotis Constantine, bass, Matthew Benzenhoefer, baritone, Gabriel Danko, bass, Zach Harper, recorder, Joseph Spurio and Matthew Younger, tenors.

The Women's and Men's choirs will join forces and close the program with "Chindia," by Alexandru Pascanu.
