Westminster College Crowns Homecoming King and Queen

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Ian Davis and Emily Puruczky were crowned Westminster College Homecoming king and queen during the halftime festivities Oct. 12.

Davis, a junior biochemistry major, is a son of James and Charlene Davis of Rockton and a graduate of DuBois Area High School. The Theta Chi candidate is involved with Students Against Drunk Driving, is vice president of Alpha Psi Omega, and is a member of the Titan Marching Band and Symphonic Band.

Puruczky, a junior communication studies major, is a daughter of Dale and Ann Puruczky of Chesterland, Ohio, a graduate of West Geauga High School. The Alpha Gamma Delta candidate is involved in more than 20 activities and organizations. She is president of the Campus Programming Council, special events chair of the Student Government Association, and vice president of Student Alumni Association.

Winning the top spot in the "Mother Goose Meets Mother Fair" Homecoming parade was Zeta Tau Alpha.  Phi Mu placed second, Sigma Kappa took third place, and Habitat for Humanity earned fourth place. Alpha Gamma Delta earned a close fifth place.
