NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity will host Phright Nights Oct. 18 from 8-11 p.m. and Oct. 19-20 from 8-12 p.m.  The Alpha Sigma Phi house is located at 129 Waugh Avenue in New Wilmington.

Tickets will be $4 for students and presold in the McKelvey Campus Center TUB. Tickets can also be purchased at the house for $5. Be advised that the haunted house may not be suitable for small children.

The haunted house has been a tradition dated back to the chapter's founding. The proceeds will be donated to the Live Strong Foundation, the fraternity's philanthropy.

The Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity, better known on campus as the 'Alpha Sigs,' began in 1939 as a way to promote brotherhood and to create leadership and scholarship in the community.  One of five national social fraternities at Westminster, the Alpha Nu chapter's members are responsible for paying local and national dues.  In addition to Live Strong, the brothers also participate in Relay for Life, which is held every spring at Harold Burry Stadium; and they volunteer at the annual Fireman's Auction, which is located in town.
