Westminster College music students Katie DiCola and Kevin Tomb will present their senior recital Sunday, Dec. 4, at 1 p.m. in Wallace Memorial Chapel.  The program is free and open to the public.

DiCola, who will graduate in December with dual majors in psychology and music, has studied French horn with Rob Cole, Westminster adjunct music faculty.  She has been involved in Titan Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Orchestra, Brass Choir, Brass Quintet, and Horn Ensemble and has played in the pit orchestra for Opera Westminster and Theatre Westminster.  A member of Mu Phi Epsilon music fraternity, DiCola was selected to perform in the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association Intercollegiate Band, attended two National Horn Society conventions, performed with the Westminster Horn Ensemble at the Nashville convention, and received the Most Outstanding Junior Music Major Award.

DiCola is vice president of Psi Chi national psychology fraternity and served as pledge trainer and president of Alpha Phi Omega national service fraternity.

DiCola is a daughter of Linda Beraduce and Thomas DiCola of Boardman, Ohio, and a graduate of Boardman High School.

Tomb, a music education major with a concentration in voice, has studied with William Ambert, Westminster adjunct music faculty.  He is a member of the Westminster Men's Choir, Concert Choir, Chamber Singers, Titan Marching Band, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, and Percussion Ensemble.  He is president of the Westminster chapter of American Choral Directors Association, past treasurer of Pennsylvania Collegiate Music Educators Association, sergeant-at-arms of Alpha Phi Omega national service fraternity, and teaches voice through Westminster's Music Internship Teaching Program.  He is enrolled in Westminster's All-College Honors Program and is a member of its honor fraternity Omicron Kappa Sigma.

Tomb is a son of Gary and Christine Tomb of Moon Township and a graduate of Moon Area High School.

The program includes works by Bach, Mozart, Schubert, Strauss, and Webber.  The students will be accompanied by Westminster sophomore music performance major Elise Heater and Westminster music faculty: pianists Dr. Nancy Zipay DeSalvo, associate professor of music, and Marie Libal-Smith, adjunct; and Cole on French horn.

Heater is a daughter of Ronald and Kathleen Heater of Creswell, Ore., and a graduate of Creswell High School.
