Senior to Present Violin Recital Nov. 20

Sara Zebley, a Westminster College music education major, will present her senior violin recital Saturday, Nov. 20, at 1 p.m. in Orr Auditorium. The program is free and open to the public.

Selections include Copland's "Hoedown" from Rodeo; "Concerto in A minor" by Accolay; Vivaldi's "Concerto in A minor;" Mozart's "Concerto in G Major;" and "Limerock," a fiddle tune by Matt Brown.

Zebley is from the string studio of Melinda Perttu, Westminster adjunct music faculty. She will be accompanied by Westminster adjunct music faculty Jeff Wachter, Perry Gatch, Jeff Bremer, and Mark Antonich.

At Westminster, Zebley is active in the Pennsylvania Collegiate Music Educators Association and the music intern teaching program, giving private music lessons. She is also lead guitar/fiddle player and back-up vocalist for Girlz in Black Hats, a local country band that released its debut CD in August.

Zebley is a daughter of Ray and Janice Zebley of Dawson and a graduate of Frazier High School.
