Speech Scholarship Awarded

Westminster College's 2010 John C. Hanley Speech Scholarship was awarded to sophomore public relations major Miltiadis Constantine.

Constantine is a son of Thomas and Vasiliki Constantine of Poland, Ohio, and a graduate of Poland Seminary High School.

The $1,300 scholarship is awarded annually to a sophomore student for delivery of the best speech relating the Christian faith to contemporary culture. Criteria for judging include delivery, organization, and content.

Constantine presented his speech to Westminster faculty Dr. Bryan Rennie, Vira I. Heinz professor and chair of the Department of Religion, History, Philosophy and Classics, and Dr. Kang-Yup Na, associate professor of religion.
