Seraphim Chorus, a community choir, will present their holiday concert, "Celebrate the Season," Sunday, Dec. 13, at 3 p.m. at Poland (Ohio) United Methodist Church and Saturday, Dec. 26, at noon at Mary, Mother of Hope Parish in New Castle.

Both concerts are open to the public and a freewill offering will be taken.

The chorus is under the direction of Mr. Kris Harper, Westminster College adjunct faculty in music, director of the Women's Chorus, and 1981 Westminster graduate. Kathryn D. Miller, Westminster College organist, will accompany the group.

Westminster student Daniel Goffus will serve as student conductor and student accompanist.

Goffus, a freshman music education major, is a son of Stephanie Diffendal of Jackson Center and a graduate of Lakeview High School.

The program of holiday favorites includes "Winter Wonderland," "White Christmas," "The Holly and the Ivy," "Away in a Manger," Fred Waring's "'Twas the Night before Christmas," and selections by William Mathias and John Rutter. The concerts will conclude with an audience sing-along.
