Westminster College's Drinko Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning will sponsor "Service-Learning Institute: Cultivating Community Partnerships" Thursday, April 30, from 1-4:30 p.m. in the Witherspoon Lakeview Room of the McKelvey Campus Center.

The goal of the institute is to provide an opportunity for higher education faculty and administrators and community organization representatives to engage in open discussion on how to collaborate to address community needs.

All community organization staff and administrators who would like to develop or strengthen service-learning partnerships with their local college or university are encouraged to attend.

Advanced registration is required by e-mailing name, position, organization or institution, e-mail address, and phone number to southba@westminster.edu. The $10 fee is payable on arrival at the session.

The Drinko Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning was created to enrich undergraduate education at Westminster through advancing world-class teaching as well as by participating in collaborations that address community and regional needs including strengthening K-12 education.
