Westminster College's Chapel Drama will present Seussical the Musical Friday, April 3, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, April 5, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. in Wallace Memorial Chapel. The performances are open to the public. An offering will be taken at intermission.

The musical is based on the books by beloved children's author Dr. Seuss. The characters share life lessons that include: being a responsible member of the world; believing in goodness; growing up; being generous; watching your attitude and how it affects others; encouraging and caring about others who may be different; being a person with heart; being imaginative, wild, and simple; and enjoying life and all it has to offer.

The Westminster production is entirely student produced. Co-directors are Catherine Bishop, a senior elementary education major from Red Lion, and Shauna Oles, a senior communication studies major from York. Musical director is Lane McFarland, a junior individual interdisciplinary major from Canonsburg; assistant musical director is Alison Paden, a junior music education major from Brookville; and choreographer is Alissa Cochenour, a senior elementary education major from Lower Burrell.
