Benjamin O'Keefe and Aimee Spicuzza were crowned Westminster College Homecoming king and queen during the halftime festivities Oct. 18.
O'Keefe, a sophomore public relations major, is a son of Terry and Vicki O'Keefe of Bethel Park and a graduate of Bethel Park High School. At Westminster he is involved in Campus Programming Council, Young Presbyterian Scholars, Diversity Committee of Student Government Association, Public Relations Student Society of America, Student Alumni Association, Ultimate Frisbee Club, and Theta Chi fraternity.
Spicuzza, a junior elementary and special education major, is a daughter of Douglas and Donna Spicuzza of Pittsburgh and a graduate of North Hills High School. At Westminster she is a resident assistant, president of the campus chapter of Habitat for Humanity, and a member of wind ensemble, Gospel choir, Titan Traverse, Ultimate Frisbee Club, First Book, and the Titan Marching Band's dance line.
Winning the top spot in the "One Fish, Two Fish, White Fish, Blue Fish" Homecoming parade was Phi Mu's "Horton Hears a Who." Sigma Kappa's "Daisy-Head Mayzie" placed second; Alpha Gamma Delta's "Green Eggs and Ham" took third place; and Kappa Delta's "The Lorax" was the fourth place float.
New for this year's 50th annual parade was the golf cart category. Habitat for Humanity's entry took first prize, followed by Campus Programming Council in second, Westminster's Career Center in third, and McGill Library staff in fourth.
