Westminster College will celebrate Homecoming with a variety of activities Oct. 17-19, including the largest parade in school history.

The 50th annual Homecoming parade will take place Saturday at 10:30 a.m. on Market Street. Paraphrasing a Dr. Seuss title, the parade theme is "One Fish, Two Fish, White Fish, Blue Fish," and includes over 50 entries. Participants include the Westminster Titan Marching Band, the Wilmington Area High School marching band, local Scout troops, campus organizations' floats, Homecoming king and queen candidates, and local community groups and businesses. New this year is a golf cart category.

Other public events scheduled include: McGill Library rededication Friday at 4:30 p.m.; a worship service in Wallace Memorial Chapel Saturday at 9:30 a.m., led by the Class of 1958; story time in the Williamson Community Room of McGill Library Saturday at 10 a.m.; presentation of the Homecoming court Saturday at 1 p.m. prior to the Westminster Titans vs. Bethany Bison football game at 1:30 p.m.; an alumni jazz ensemble concert Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in the Berlin Student Lounge of the McKelvey Campus Center; and meditation walks at the Sandy Edmiston Memorial Labyrinth at the Field Station Sunday beginning at 9:30 a.m.

Distinguished Alumni lectures, campus tours, carillon music, class reunion luncheons and dinners, and opportunities for shopping in the Titan gift shop round out the festivities.
