Concert Choir & Chamber Singers Concert April 29

The Westminster College Choir and Chamber Singers will perform in concert Sunday, April 29, at 3 p.m. in Wallace Memorial Chapel.

The program for the Concert Choir includes: Eric Whitacre's "Leonardo Dreams of His Flying Machine;" Mack Wilberg's arrangement of "Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing;" and Pablo Casals' "O Vos Omnes." Gyorgy Orban's "Daemon Irrepit Callidus" will be conducted by Jason Perry, a junior music education major from Shippenville. Daniel Moe's "Requiem Motet" will be conducted by Sheila Barnhart, a junior music performance major from New Freeport. The choir is accompanied by Craig Dressler, a junior music and religion major from Erie.

The Chamber Singers will sing: John Wilson's "The Cuckoo;" Orlando Gibbons' "Hosanna to the Son of David;" Franz Joseph Haydn's "Alles Hat Seine Zeit;" Johannes Brahms' "O Lord of All, Thou Love Divine;" David N. Childs' "The Moon is Distant from the Sea" and Michele Weir's arrangement of "Dream with the Angels." The chamber singers will be accompanied by Rachel Hammond, a senior music major from Pittsburgh.

The choirs are directed by Dr. Robin Lind, Westminster College director of choral activities.
