Dr. David Twining, Westminster College associate professor of history, will speak at the Faculty Forum, Wednesday, April 25, at 11:40 a.m. in the Sebastian Mueller Theater of the McKelvey Campus Center.

Twining will talk about his research and reading on Ohio colleges in the 1960s. "My focus is on how these institutions responded to the many social and political conflicts of the decade," Twining said. "I am trying to determine how the institutions changed because of the conflicts, and what impact this change might have had on student experiences."

Faculty Forum, established in 1990, serves as a venue for the exchange of ideas and information among Westminster College faculty. Speakers present their research, teaching ideas, lectures, performances, special programs, and uses of technology to keep faculty informed about the work of colleagues from many disciplines.

The event is free and open to the public. Contact Twining at (724) 946-6246 or e-mail twinindc@westminster.edu for more information.
