Student Brass Quintet to Perform April 2

The Westminster College Student Brass Quintet will perform a concert Monday, April 2, at 7:30 p.m. in Orr Auditorium.

The program includes: Rondeau by J. J. Morer and arranged by Bill Holcombe Jr.; Contrasts for Brass Quintet by William Brusick; Scherzo by John Cheetham; Amazing Grace arranged by Luther Henderson; Brass Quintet by Arthur Frackenpohl; and Amparito Roca by Jamie Texidor and arranged by Randall Doersch.

Members of the quintet include:

Rochester, PA
Bethany Morse
is a daughter of Stephen and Lynne Morse. Morse, a junior music education major, is a graduate of Grove City Area High School. She plays French horn.

McKeesport, PA
Carriella Halas
is a daughter of Frank and Carolyn Halas. Halas, a senior music education major, is a graduate of McKeesport Area High School. She plays tuba.

Mckees Rocks, PA
Jonathan Nickel
is a son of Clinton and Debbie Nickel. Nickel, a junior music education major, is a graduate of Montour High School. He plays trumpet.

Sharpsville, PA
Zachary Sartori
is a son of Roy and Christine Sartori and John and Maria Ackley of Madison, AL. Sartori, a senior music major, is a graduate of Sharpsville Area High School. He plays trombone.
James Scanga is a son of James and Kimberly Scanga. Scanga, a junior music education major, is a graduate of Kennedy Catholic High School. He plays trumpet.
