Student Takes Second Place in National Singing Competition

David Timm, a junior music education major from St. Marys, won second place in the Junior Men's Division at the annual National Association of Teachers of Singing Competition held at Youngstown State University. Timm is a son of Robert and Sheri Timm, and is a graduate of Saint Marys Area High School. 

Fourteen other Westminster College voice students were in attendance at the competition. They are as follows:

Aliquippa, PA
Rachael Neal is a daughter of Kevin and Lenna Neal. Neal, a sophomore music major, is a graduate of South Side Area High School.

Pittsburgh, PA
Ashley Cesaratto is a daughter of Dale and Dawn Cesaratto. Cesaratto, a sophomore music education major, is a graduate of Penn Hills High School.
Kimberly Hasara is a daughter of James and Karen Hasara. Hasara, a sophomore music performance major, is a graduate of Avonworth High School.

DuBois, PA
William McCullough is a son of William and Suzanne McCullough. McCullough, a junior music performance major, is a graduate of DuBois Area High School.

Jamestown, PA
Stephanie Witzorreck is a daughter of Arnold and Kathy Witzorreck. Witzorreck, a sophomore music education major, is a graduate of Jamestown Area High School.

Hermitage, PA
Jill Darby is a daughter of John and Joni Darby. Darby, a junior music performance major, is a graduate of home schooling.

Shippenville, PA
Jason Perry is a son of Rex Perry and Eugenia Perry, Knox. Perry, a junior music education major, is a graduate of Keystone High School.

Erie, PA
Danette Nelson is a daughter of Kevin and Denise Nelson. Nelson, a sophomore international politics and music major, is a graduate of Northwest Pennsylvania Collegiate Academy.

Collegeville, PA
Courtney Collins is a daughter of Kevin and LeAnn Collins. Collins, a junior music education and music performance major, is a graduate of Methacton High School.

Transfer, PA
Stephanie Hills resides in Transfer. She is a music education major.

Canton, OH
Katlyn Schroll is a daughter of Jeffrey and Terry Schroll. Schroll, a freshman music education major, is a graduate of Canton McKinley High School.

Millbrook, NY
Bridget Steller is a daughter of Richard and Bridget Steller. Steller, a senior music performance and music education major, is a graduate of Our Lady of Lourdes High School.

Clarence, NY
Lindsay Byers is a daughter of David and Rosemarie Byers. Byers, a senior music education major, is a graduate of Clarence Central High School.

Saline, MI
Melissa Barnes is a daughter of Brett and Christine Barnes. Barnes, a junior music education major, is a graduate of Saline Area High School.
