Theatre Westminster presents the musical "Guys and Dolls" Wednesday-Saturday, Nov. 8-11, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 12, at 2:30 p.m. in Beeghly Theater.

This musical is set in New York during the early 1950s. The plot revolves around a bet made between gambler Sky Masterson, and Nathan Detroit, the organizer of a floating crap-game. Sky bets Nathan that he can convince any girl Nathan chooses to go with him on a romantic getaway. Nathan chooses Sarah Brown of the Salvation Army, who is currently short on sinners at the mission she runs. The play features such well-known songs as "A Bushel and a Peck," "Luck Be a Lady," and "Sit Down, You're Rockin' the Boat."

Under the direction of Eileen Hendrickson, Westminster College visiting instructor of theatre, the event features a student cast, stage hands, pit orchestra, and set constructors.

To reserve tickets, call the Beeghly Box Office at (724) 946-7241 and leave a message with your name, number of tickets, and preferred date. Adults tickets are $10; non-Westminster students and senior tickets are $5.
