Westminster to Celebrate Homecoming Weekend Oct. 19-21

Westminster College will celebrate Homecoming & Reunion Weekend Oct. 19-21.

Thursday, Oct. 19
* 6 p.m. the first 250 Westminster students in line at the Student Government Association Office (SGA) will receive a free Titan t-shirt
*8 p.m. in the TUB of the McKelvey Campus Center, the SGA will sponsor a pep rally, which includes the introduction of the 2006-2007 Homecoming Court and the new Westminster Titan Mascot
*9 p.m. at the Berlin Lounge with Phi Mu's "Stand Up, Stand Off," Westminster's version of "Last Comic Standing" where the winner will receive a cash prize to donate to the charity of his or her choice.

Friday, Oct. 20
* 1 p.m. the Golden Tower Society in Ferguson Lounge where the alumni of the classes of 1956 and earlier pick up their registration packets and meet and greet old friends.
* 2 p.m. Campus Tours depart from Ferguson Lounge
*3:30 p.m. Tea with the Books at McGill Library featuring speaker Dr. John Fontanella, a 1967 graduate
* 6 p.m. The Carillon Concert can be heard from the Senior Terrace due to the class gift of 1956 that included the seven bells needed to complete Westminster's carillon
*9 p.m. Brandon Hewitt and Springhill at the Titan Tavern.

Saturday, Oct. 21
*9-11 a.m., Friends can reconnect by signing the decade boards, enjoying the refreshments and picking up pre-paid picnic and football tickets McKelvey TUB
*9:15 a.m. Homecoming worship service in the Chapel, led by Dr. Donald Patchel, a 1956 Westminster graduate, and James Mohr, Westminster's college chaplain
*9:45-10:30 a.m. Alumni can tour the newly-renovated Thompson House
*10:30 a.m. "Nursery Rhyme" Homecoming Parade begins down Market St.
*11:30 a.m. The All-Alumni Picnic, as well as several other reunion luncheons
*1 p.m. Introduction of the Homecoming Court and Westminster Marching Band at the Football Field
*1:30 p.m. Titan football kick-off versus the Bethany Bisons 
*2:30-3:30 p.m. Tours of the new Berlin Village and the renovated Wiley Alumni House
* 6 p.m. Cluster reunion dinners for alumni
*8 p.m. Students can enjoy Dance, Dance Revolution, an interactive video dance, at Berlin Lounge
