Students to Give Saxophone Recital

Five Westminster College students will give a saxophone recital Sunday, Oct. 8, at 3 p.m. in Wallace Memorial Chapel. The concert is free and open to the public.

"The program includes pieces by Mozart, Rachmaninoff, Ravel, Gershwin, and Jerome Naulais," said James Flowers, instructor in the Westminster College Music Department

The performers are:

Uniontown, PA
Anna Long is a daughter of Michael Long and Maryann J. Long, Youngsville. Long, a senior music education major, is a graduate of Youngsville High School.

Grove City, PA
Allison Henley is a daughter of Donald and Nancy Henley. Henley, a senior music education major, is a graduate of Grove City Area High School.

Eldred, PA
Kevin Shields is a son of Dana and Teresa Shields. Shields, a sophomore music education major, is a graduate of Otto-Eldred High School.

Huntingtown, MD
Amanda Allwang is a daughter of William and Belinda Allwang. Allwang, a junior music education major, is a graduate of Northern High School.

Cedar Rapids, IA
Steven Sankey is a son of James and Joyce Sankey. Sankey, a freshman English major, is a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School.
