Announcement of New Employees and Title Changes

Westminster College recently added three new employees and four staff members have changed titles and responsibilities.

Diane Gabriel was hired as the new secretary for the Chapel and Church Relations Office. Prior to coming to Westminster, she worked as an administrator for the First Methodist Church, the Trinity Episcopal Church, and the Croton United Methodist Church, all in New Castle. Michele Garman was hired as the new technical assistant in the Music Library. Prior to coming to Westminster, she worked as a church organist and pianist at Church Hill United Methodist Church, a supervisor and music salesperson at Barnes & Noble Booksellers, Inc., and a private music teacher at various churches, schools, and music stores in Ohio and Pennsylvania. Gina Vance was hired in the Student Affairs Office as the assistant dean of student affairs for Residence Life and Leadership Development. She was previously assistant director of residence life at Baldwin-Wallace College. She also served as director of residence life, and later as assistant dean of students at Ursuline College. Vance earned her undergraduate degree at Mount Union College and her master's at Kent State University. She and her husband, Mark, reside with their children, Jacob and Ella, in New Wilmington. Four Westminster staff members have changes is responsibilities and titles.

Elizabeth (Biz) Hines, previously the director of the Westminster Fund, now holds the title of Director of Alumni Planning and Programming. Hines, who has been with Westminster since 1980, received both her undergraduate and master's degrees at Westminster College. Mary James, previously the director of Alumni Relations, now holds the title of Director of Alumni Relations and Young Alumni Programs. James, who has been with Westminster since 1990, received both her undergraduate and master's degrees at Westminster College.
