Westminster College Celebrity Series Opens with The 5th Dimension

The 2002-2003 Westminster College Celebrity Series Season opens with The 5th Dimension Saturday, Sept. 28, at 8 p.m. in Orr Auditorium.

Ever since their early recording of "Up, Up and Away," this group has catapulted to stardom and success. The 5th Dimension today is one of the most popular singing groups in the world. They have received 14 Gold Records. Their classics include, "One Less Bell to Answer," "Wedding Bell Blues," "Go Where You Wanna Go," and numerous others.

"The 5th Dimension headline in Las Vegas and Atlantic, and are on tour throughout the world," said Gene DeCaprio, director of the Celebrity Series. "In growing and changing with the times, they continue to appeal to a wide audience with their upbeat and easy listening sound."
