Westminster College Student to Present Senior Voice Recital

Nora Drake, a music performance major at Westminster College, will present her senior voice recital Sunday, March 4, at 3 p.m. in Wallace Memorial Chapel.

Drake a soprano, will perform arias and art songs by Mozart, Liszt, Wolf, and others and will be accompanied by pianist Matthew McCright, a 1999 graduate of Westminster College from Greenville.

Robert Kapilow's exciting and energetic musical story of "Dr. Seuss's Gertrude McFuzz" will culminate the performance. Gabriell Ordonez, a soprano from Wheatland who has been studying with Drake for over two years, will perform this duet with Drake.

Drake is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Drake, 48 N. Wood St., Greenville.

The event is free and open to the public. The hour-long performance is followed by a reception in the Tower Room of Old Main.
