Two Westminster College students, Marissa Betters and Christopher Cassano, have received United Parcel Service Foundation Scholarships in recognition of scholarship and leadership.

Betters, a Spanish major, is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Betters, 419 Livingston Rd., West Mifflin, and a graduate of West Mifflin Area High School.

Cassano, a biology major, is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Cassano, 1211, Beatrice St., New Castle, and a graduate of Union Area High School.

The scholarships are administered by the Foundation of Independent College's Inc., of Pennsylvania (FIC) in Mechanicsburg. Since 1975, the UPS Foundation has provided more than $1.3 million in state scholarship support via FIC. Selection of the UPS scholars is determined independently on each campus.
