Elizabeth A. Keen, a music performance major, will give her senior organ recital Saturday, March 24, at 7 p.m. in Orr Auditorium of Westminster College.

Keen plans to perform "Cortege et Litanie" by Marcel Dupre, "Prelude and Fague in C major" by Johann Sebastian Bach, "Sonata VI in D minor" by Felix Mendelssohn, and "Symphony VI in G minor" by Charles-Marie Widor.

Keen has been featured in performances for the Youngstown Chapter of the American Guild of Organist (AGO). She was also featured as a guest artist in the Region III Convention of the AGO held in Pittsburgh in June 1999. She has also played the 50th Anniversary organ recital for the rededication of the First Baptist Church in Salem, Ohio, and traveled to Georgia to perform the dedication recital of the new organ at the First United Methodist Church of Marietta.

In addition to her talents on the organ, Keen has studied the piano with Dr. Nancy Zipay DeSalvo, and voice with Donald Rasely, both music faculty members at Westminster College. Although she currently studies organ with Raymond Ocock and Dr. Elizabeth Harrison of the Westminster College Department of Music, she has also studied with Dr. John Walker, Dr. Ann Labounsky, and David Craighead.

She is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Keen, 575 S. Lincoln Ave., Salem, Ohio, and is a graduate of Salem High School.

The event is free and open to the public. Following the performance, there will be a reception in Orr Lobby. For more information, contact the Westminster College Department of Music at (724) 946-7270.
